#CelebrateWithDE – National Space Day

On the first Friday in May, we celebrate National Space Day, a holiday established to celebrate achievements in space exploration and encourage students to pursue careers in space-related STEM careers. There are plenty of resources about the space sciences waiting to be discovered in your Discovery Education account.

May the 4th Be with You! Since the holiday falls on the 4th this year, it’s also a fun time to consider what makes science fiction interesting and believable. Use these resources to help your students consider the magic of science fiction rooted in practical possibilities.
