I had a chance to attend the ICE Conference last week and luckily got to see many of my DEN friends. Conferences are always a good time to connect with other educators, but it’s also a time to freshen up our teaching practice and gather some new ideas. This conference has a great resource available
Two big conferences are taking place this week. PETE & C, the educational technology conference in Pennsylvania is early in the week and ICE, the ed tech conference in Illinois is at the end of the week. The Olympics are right around the corner and before we know it, will be gone. About 8 years ago, when I was a classroom teacher, we celebrated the Olympic games. Students could earn a medal based on how many pages they read, the number of math facts they completed, and a few other academic challenges.
