How many seeds in a pumpkin?

November 14th, 2008 · 2 Comments · Voicethread

So how many seeds do you think are in a pumpkin? Kerri Bresocnik and her first graders at Truman  used their math skills to estimate and then count their seeds.  This Internet based project integrated math (including a visit from Donna Porpora) and technology skills.  If you enjoy their voicethread, please post a comment for them.

    Dear Mrs. Bresocnik’s class,
I had so much fun doing this voicethread with you. It was exciting trying to figure out whose voice was whose when I watched it for the first time. I am looking forward to doing another one with you!
