Or what if you could make a storybook move? Tumblebooks is my proposal. This interactive site is geared to grades K-3 with read-a long books and games. You can access it from the New York Public Library via www.tinyurl.com/tumblebooks
The bookcase includes story books in foreign languages as well as games and puzzles. While I could not get the longer audio books to load, I had success with many of the other titles. Perhaps this would work for centers or as a link on your web page.
