No, I’m not talking about a quick place for breakfast. It’s an award presented by the DEN*- and this blog was one of the five winners for individual blog! And I say “we” because many of my posts are based on projects you and your students have completed in the classroom. Thank you for sharing your work with me. It was inspiring to receive this national recognition from my peers.

Quick, what’s the difference between fruits and vegetables? RNA and DNA? Or my personal favorite- plant and animal cells?
Need to know? Diffen might be the site for you. Enter two terms (or select from their suggestions or categories) and acquire a table with the results. You can filter for all the data or just the differences (or similarities). Will this wiki answer all your questions? No- but you edit and enrich the site. Or use this as a model and have your students create their own tables (great on a SMARTBoard).

If you haven’t checked out the new TeacherWeb options- the pages above are just some of the samples.
Does your site benefit from an update? Along with their new “look and feel” they have produced video tutorials on how to make almost any change you would be looking for (click here for videos)! The new Enhanced text page makes it even easier to embed videos, glogs, animotos, whatever your students are constructing! (prior post on how to change your design , click here.)
