How about a customized search engine?  One that would only search the sites you wanted.  This was one of the tools I learned this week at the Google Workshop for Educators. Here is the step by step process.
1. To create a personal search, you need to have a Google account.  You can create one at here.  You do not have to have a Gmail account- any email account will work.

2. Log into your Google account. From the drop down menu select More and then select even more.  You will now be on the Google Products Page.

3. Select Custom Search. The select Create a Custom Search Engine.  You can then name your search engine and start to populate the engine with specific urls.  There are several different ways you can specify the sites.

4. You can then change the appearance of the search engine as well as collect the embed code.If you chose to share the link (rather than the embed code), you can use tinyurl.com to shorten the url.

As a sample, here is one I created for fifth grade social studies project on explorers.
