Check out Socrative. This new site (currently in testing) provides students (and teachers) a can access from any internet device. I’ve tried it with desktops, laptops, iPod touches, iPads, and smart phones. The process works from the web or an app. You can use their pre-made examples or create your own prompt or quiz. You get the results in real-time or in a downloadable spreadsheet. Great for exit tickets and taking the pulse of the group.
