Bracket Basics – no basketball required!

May 6th, 2013 · No Comments · Content - Math

How well do your fourth-sixth graders understand math brackets?  In a Bracket Basics exercise, you are given a blank number sentence, the answer, and three numbers.  You need to drag the numbers to the spaces to equal the answer.  After you are done, the answer is provided (in step by step form).  This would work well in stations or on a SMART Board.  There is an iPad app (for .99) as well.  (From TeachersFirst)
