If you are looking for algebra or calculus help, you might want to try Study Geek. There are problem calculators (the good thing is you can put in your own problem). The bad thing is the free version only shows the answer (you can upgrade for the step by step results). The good thing there are a variety of choices (i.e., simply, find the domain, rind the range). There are also lessons on the site that do walk you through specific problems. You can see the complete post here from TeachersFirst. This might be something students could use to check their work.
