No, I’m not talking about a quick place for breakfast.  It’s an award presented by the DEN*- and this blog was one of the five winners for individual blog!  And I say “we” because many of my posts are based on projects you and your students have completed in the classroom.  Thank you for sharing your work with me.  It was inspiring to receive this national recognition from my peers.

Here’s an innovative way to blog in TeacherWeb!  Nina Obryk (5^th grade LAL) posted this writing prompt and encouraged her students to respond. It makes interesting reading- not only from the student responses-but also to see how some responded to Nina’s feedback. Click here to view her site.
