Did you know Xtranormal speaks Spanish? You would know if you are in Rose Caubet’s 7th grade World Language class. Her students recently completed videos- they created the scripts (punctuation is very important), selected their characters- well, see for yourself below. Her class used the text to speech features in this application. Special thanks to JS and NB for Raul y Nora and to AK for Leonardo.

Send your students to www.discoveryeducation.com and have them select the Home Resource Tab (it’s in the center of the page- no logon is required). As you can see from the screen shot, helpful videos are available in several content areas. Click here to see a subtraction video.Think about adding this link to your website. Or perhaps you would like to promote specific clips.

Review options

Looking for another way to review? Try the quiz feature in Photopeach. Debbie Pelican (5th grade WL) just shared her Photopeach quizzes. Just create (or edit) a Photopeach and select the quiz option. Enter the question and responses (make one the correct answer). As your students view the Photopeach, they can review the class material. Maybe students could make their own reviews and share with their peers. How would this work for the visual learner?
