Since posting the DEN leadership council intro last week, I’ve been asked a few times how I embedded the PowerPoint presentation in the blog (it was easy, you can do it too).  I thought that would make a great topic for the next post, but Steve Dembo beat me to it.  So, rather than reinventing the wheel, I’ll just link back to Steve’s blog and let him tell us all what’s up!

It’s been a few weeks since we’ve had any posts on the CA DEN blog. Along with some of the other recent DEN
changes, we have created a new leadership council for the state. Our job is to help keep you (the classroom
teacher, tech coordinator, media specialist, DEN member at large…) informed,
updated and included on the latest happenings in educational technology and
Discovery happenings.

It’s that time of year again when DEN members from every region in CA make the annual migration to our Palm Springs Oasis (almost said Sunny Palm Springs Oasis… but for those who joined us last year… who could forget our snow storm?!?)

We had a great time at our DEN Party last year and it’s time to CUE it up again… this time with a twist.  Join DEN at a special Networking Event on Thursday evening March 1st.  We will begin our festivities around 4:30 and conclude around 8… just in time to hit the street faire! 

Get ready to hit the streets as DEN makes a dash for a hidden cache!  Seating for this event will be limited, so please RSVP by commenting below to be placed on the email loop for more information.  Also let us know if you have your own GPS machine that you will be bringing with you.
