Okay, several colleagues have expressed concern about not being able to open documents at home that have been emailed to them or that they have found on the internet because they have been created with Office 2007 - and they have an earlier version of Office at home. Well, Microsoft has got you covered on that!
You can download a Compatibility Pack (link below) for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007 file formats that will allow Office 2003 and 2000 to open those files. Microsoft asks that you please install all High-Priority updates from Microsoft Update before downloading the Compatibility Pack.
Then you can head on over here and download the Compatability Pack.
