Consistent Verb Tense

Remember, it is important to maintain consistent verb tense in your sentences and across paragraphs while you are writing. You would not write:
I go to school yesterday.
You should write:
I went to school yesterday.
Or:
I will go to school tomorrow.
Or:
I go to school five days a week.
