How do I use thee? Let me count the ways.
- I use thee to the breadth and depth and height of Professional Development
- Online courses for CEUs and/or other incentives
- Book Studies – Online forum style
- Wikis or Forums on Technology Integration Ideas (among other things)
- I use thee to the level of everyday’s Educator Virtual Library needs
- District-wide Resource Drop Box – upload, store and share resources
- One Stop Shop for Tip-Sheets on District Resources (equipment, software, etc.)
- Employee FAQs (and their answers, of course)
- I use thee with a passion put to use in Student Courses
- Remediation Courses – make up credits, review and reinforce specific skills, supplement classroom instruction, etc.
- Hybrid Courses – classroom instruction paired with online delivery of course materials
- Advanced Full Courses – all online – gifted, advanced placement, enrichment, and/or elective courses, etc.
- I shall use thee with a love for Communication and Collaboration
- Teacher Blogs, Discussion Boards, and Wikis for general questions, words of encouragement, file sharing, and collaborative, cross-curricular projects
- Calendar Block – for teachers – meeting dates, deadlines, training events, etc.
- Course Calendar Block – for students (and parents) – class events, assignment due dates, test dates
- Student Wikis for collaborative projects
- Exabis e-portfolio block (non-standard – must be downloaded and extracted into the blocks directory) – peer review published work
