Navigating and Integrating DE Science TECHBOOK

Reach 21st Century learners through the use of digital resources from the Discovery Education Science TECHBOOK, an innovative replacement for the traditional “textbook”.  This course will guide participants through powerful science instruction that incorporates the 5E model, a blend of digital resources and hands-on activities. The session highlights navigation through and instructional strategies for a wide variety of media resources that include full-length videos, reading passages, interactive explorations, virtual labs and hands-on activities.  Participants will create a lesson utilizing DE Science TECHBOOK  Model Lessons and additional resources discovered throughout the course.
