Last week we were fortunate to have Chad & Lindsay come up to Alaska to visit for the AK Society of Technology in Education Conference. Had a wonderful time meeting them, getting together with DEN Stars around the State and making connections with more teachers interested in DEN.

In a couple of weeks we will be meeting at ASTE for 32nd annual ASTE conference on Feb 25-28, 2012. The newly formed Alaska DEN Leadership Council will meet with Alaska DEN stars as well as everyone else in a meet & greet, Tuesday morning 9:45AM.

I’m getting ready to attend the opening of the Virtual World Best Practices in Education conference today beginning at 2 PM PST (or SLT) and running for 52 hours. Want to join in the fun? For more info: http://vwbpe11.vwbpe.org/

Just filled out the form for interest in the LC in Anchorage. On spring break now and looking toward the end of the school year. There is so much to do still before the end of the year, now to figure out how to fit it all in!

Just spent two days learning and presenting at ASTE 2011, Alaska Society for Technology in Education’s annual conference in Anchorage. Among other things we are looking into starting a Leadership Council here! I took some time learning how to use Prezi also…not sure how I’ll exactly use it but it does seem to have possibilities and that is one of the best things at the conference for me: learning about all the possibilities that are out there!

Finished my masters, got a new school,  and I continue to work with a wonderful group of people!

As I finish up my Masters in Educational Technology, I look forward to another year as an EdTech teacher. I’m glad that I’ll have more time than the last few years and expect that I’ll still be very busy!
