I started the summer attending ISTE 2012, where I won a Chromebook.  I like it so far.  I attended some great workshops.

I am in Portland attending the AERO conference on Alternative education.

School is in full swing now and students are enthused about learning.
I have been using IPAD Apps to enhance my teaching.

New  Semester.  Students are off to a good start.

I had a furlough week October 4-10th.  I visited Seattle and Victoria Canada.  Saw a pod of Orca whales.  Visited the royal Museum in Victoria.  Attended a meeting at Seattle University with Settle educators Assn.  Diane ravitch was the speaker via Skype.

I am just ecstatic at the appreciation from the DEN leaders.  In this economic climate, it is refreshing to know that I am appreciated as a teacher and DEN STAR.

See you all in Denver and I hear Steve Dembo will be treating us to his BBQ’ing skills.
