I had a furlough week October 4-10th. I visited Seattle and Victoria Canada. Saw a pod of Orca whales. Visited the royal Museum in Victoria. Attended a meeting at Seattle University with Settle educators Assn. Diane ravitch was the speaker via Skype.
I recently had the opportunity to spend 8 days on the Caribbean Island of Dominica. Its was like being in paradise. I saw the natural wonders of the rainforest.

I have been catching up on all the new information I learned at NECC09. School will be here before I know it and I am supercharged to try out some of the new things I learned. I am preparing for a visit to the island of Dominica.
I left cold Northern California for some R & R in South Florida. I visited the Everglades and took an air boat ride. The sites were fantastic.
