Congratulations to the winning board from our Polar Bear Board Builder Challenge, by Maggie and Rylie from North Carolina!
Maggie and Rylie won a virtual meeting with the scientists from Polar Bears International for their whole class. The board was a great mix of information, images, video, and… an original song recorded and uploaded into the board. The song was the clincher. You can see the whole board by clicking on the image. It was difficult for the team to pick a winner, because lots of great boards were submitted. Thanks to all of you who submitted a board! Luckily for all of us, these boards are now in Discovery Education and you can find them by searching for “polar bears.”
Remember, we can all tune in to the webcasts from the tundra. Our team member, Lance Rougeux will be in the TUNDRA BUGGY with scientists from Polar Bears International and you’ll have a chance to spot polar bears and other wildlife as you hear from the scientists.
