Polar Vortex

Check out this picture that one of our Discovery Education Vice Presidents took from our Chicago office this week, where temps dipped well below zero. (You can click on the picture to enlarge it; that’s Lake Michigan you see in the background.)

See if it makes you shiver!

I live here in the Peach State (Georgia), and on Monday, it dipped to 22° F! I checked MSN, and it said it felt like -5° F! So I put on my cap, gloves, scarf, and coat, and then I went outside. Perhaps MSN was true, because even with all that on, I was still freezing cold!

Reilly, we got 4 snowdays in a row and 12 inches of snow. That makes 20 days of winter break. Also we had a delay as well. 1/2 of a hour.
