Hint #2: Mystery Image

Great guesses in the Comments section! This mystery and the resource that features it will be solved in Friday’s post. Some of you may already have a handle on what it is… and some of you may be wildly off track. Today’s image is another hint in the form of a visual of the same thing from another angle. (Virtual bonus points for those of you who identify what animated character this reminds me of.)

probably an alligator because it has a shorter snout than a crocodile. also could be one of those fish that sit at the bottom of the ocean waiting for food. my main guess though is the alligator.
