This year’s prompt for the Doodle4Google contest is: “If I Could Invent One Thing to Make the World a Better Place…”

Many of you have expressed interest in participating in this competition — go Discovery Student Network! — so I thought I’d show you a few winners from last year’s international competition. Check out how the winners incorporated the Google logo into their amazing representations of their “Best Day” (last year’s theme).

There just using us because they don’t have the brains to come up with it in the first place. Come on who do they think we are. I think that they should come up with on there own there the ones who should come up with the drawings NOT US !

    • Jeanette (Reply) on Wednesday 26, 2014

Hi Lexie. That’s an interesting take on the competition. I don’t think they are using you, though: Google has a whole team of paid artists and creatives to make the doodles all throughout the year, but they reserve one day each year to highlight the creativity of students around the world by giving them the huge Google stage. Also, they provide scholarship money and a technology grant to the winners, so they also reward you for your ideas and work. Anyway, I hope you decide to participate, have a great experience, and change your mind. If this isn’t the competition for you… that’s okay, too.

I just wanted to say that discovery education is very helpful to other kids because they can learn new things and that they wont have to worry about not knowing what the subjects are about that way they wont have to worry.
