Well, everyone: thanks for playing along! As you may be able to see with the full image, here, the mystery person is Julius Caesar. Why Julius? Why now? Just wanted to remind you that tomorrow, March 15th, is The Ides of March (“ides” meaning roughly the middle of the month on a Roman calendar). The Ides of March was the subject of the warning Caesar received from a soothsayer: “Beware the ides of March,” the day on which the soothsayer thought great harm might come to Caesar.
Congratulations to the few students who correctly identified Caesar based on his nose, eyes, and hair: Isaac, Veronique, Andrea, Riley, Cesar, Vicky, and Radford!
