I worked as an Instructional Technology Resource Teacher for four years. I was rif’ed (reduction in force) this past school year due to budget constraints. I will be teaching SPED students beginning SY 10-11. This new assignment will allow me to help these students learn through the use of technology.

I’m a techie not a trekkie (even though I love Star Trek). My favorite TV show is “I Love Lucy”. I am happily married to a retired Marine who currently works in a high school. I have a son graduating this summer with a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Science/Minor in Business. My daughter is majoring in Culinary Arts. She will receive her Bachelor’s Degree in December (works on campus in the IT department). I guess my love for technology has rubbed off on them.

I am far from being an expert on educational technology but truly enjoy the topic. I hope you enjoy reading my blog posts.
