			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This year we are using the book &#8216;Teach Like A Champion&#8217; by Doug Lemov. We are trying to establish a language / techniques that all teachers in the school will use in their classrooms. One technique is called the hook which is designed to get the students interested in the subject matter. The discovery web site is a great hook for children. We have teachers that are new to the building this year so I am planning a new teacher orientation to acclimate to the DEN. </p>
