I have my (former) principal’s weather station for the summer. Cool! I was never really able to get it to work with the computers at school and get the data uploaded to the web. The computers kept freezing up or crashing.
Now I can see what I can really do here. The station is KMIGRAND47 at Weather Underground and it is a part of the Weather Exchange.

I made a uTipu video for those teachers in the district that are visual/auditory learners. It will show how to get to the science resources that are located in the District Content folder in DE Streaming. Hope it helps.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Working this week on putting together our district’s pacing for the science content area. My responsibility was finding resources in Discovery Education Streaming for each unit in grades k-6. Needless to say, I found a ton of quality resources.
But, what made it easier was being able to take the new site for a test drive. Being able to quickly add resources to my content folder and share it with the district content folder was key in being able to have a set of media available for teachers to access when they are teaching their science unit. Plus, being able to search for media through the state standards was great! It cut down on having to search through media that was unrelated to what I needed.
Bad Behavior has blocked 7 access attempts in the last 7 days.
