At first I didn’t go for the whole #followfriday thing until I looked at some and ended up finding some great people to follow. I also looked at the people that I follow and really do appreciate the roles they play in my use of Twitter.
Twitter is about the network so make sure you look at who they are following and who is following them also. You find your personal network is getting better and better.
So here is who you should follow:
Lisa Thumann is a Senior Specialist in Technology Education at Rutgers University.
I can’t remember who followed who first or how we really ended up following each other and it doesn’t really matter. I have learned so much from Lisa and it wasn’t all direct, fact based learning either. Between her tweets and blog posts she has caused me to re-examine my own thinking about many things. Her blog posts about iphone/iTouch apps kicked my butt in gear and helped me get going this year on forming a professional development group centered around teachers using iphones/iTouches for their own learning.
NECC was very exciting last year and I met a lot of people in person that I had only met on Twitter until then. Lisa was one of the people that I got most excited about meeting in real
life.
