If you haven’t taken part in the Discovery Summer School Webinars then you are missing out. I know most of you are busy getting ready for school or even busy getting that last bit of tan before getting back in the classroom, but this is worth your time. Patti did a great job this morning presenting Animoto and Photostory. She walked us through doing a project as a student using both products. I got really excited when she shared some new things on Discovery Streaming, like student access…classroom building! Sound interesting? More of that is to come tomorrow and Thursday, so join in the excitement. Registar NOW!
The travels we make when we checkout new things is amazing. I started out on Tennesse’s blog and ended up miles away after going from one amazing site to another. Social networking is one of the greatest ways to share ideas and “finds”. One of my finds was “Free Technology for Teachers” . This particular link takes you to 5 resources for creating and Hosting Podcasts. Three of the five were new to me and I’m anxious to compare them to the ones I already use. So far, My Podcast.com is my favorite , since it seems to be the easiest to use. I’m always open to new ideas and when I find them, I’ll be glad to share them.
