I can’t stand it if I don’t tell someone. I don’t even know if anyone out there will read this, but I have to spit it out. I was asked to give some Discovery training again this summer. I finally created 8 sessions as follows: Discovery Streaming Overview, Presentations That POP! (Stolen from Matt Monjan,) Closed Caption With Discovery, Discovery Fun With Images, Editing Discovery Movies, Building Webquests in Assignment Builder, Quiz Building, and DEN Resources and So Much More! Within a couple of days 2 of these sessions filled up with 30 participants. I repeated these two and the repeated sessions filled along with 2 other sessions. I am now posting 4 more sessions. And the other sessions are close to capacity as well. You don’t have to sell Discovery. Teachers are anxious to learn all the wonderful resources it provides. What a thrill to be part of this. (I am also thrilled to once again be part of the Leadership Council.) Thank you Discovery.
