I tried out VoiceThread to prepare a ‘reminder/review” for students. Our District purchased 16 MacBooks for student use this year. I’ve been trying to work out a schedule for giving the students reminders on policy and procedures. Time is so limited. After reading “Tuesday with Karen”, I decided to try VoiceThread. The teacher can show this to the class before using the MacBooks for the first time. I wanted to meet with classes for an optional PhotoBooth/Pages writing activity (All About Me). For me that is a better use of the time I do have. I will be modeling a use of the MacBook, two applications, printing options, and camera use. Such a timely “Tuesday with Karen” tip!
