Using Discovery Streaming with the IWB
At my school, we have added 9 SMART boards this year. I’ve provided training opportunities throughout the year on how to use the board and ways to integrate its use into lessons. A successful use has been to insert links to DE Streaming video clips into the Notebook lesson. One that was particularly well received was a lesson on place value. I used two clips: Place Value Greater Than Thousands: Population and Decimals-Money for Groceries.
