Veterans Day 2010
Teachers- you are Veterans too. Every day you face a war against ignorance, poverty, neglect. You battle for funding. You spend your own dollars to supply the needs of your kids. Sometimes you fear defeat, yet you continue to muddle through and keep advancing. The challenges are many. Thank you for hanging in there, putting your life on hold many times as you struggle to fulfill the needs of your job-your students.
