The Blurb- Fantastic Mr. Fox

After reading the blurb, what are you thinking?  Can you make a guess why Mr. Fox is called fantastic?  What does it mean to “outfox” someone?

    I think Mr.Fox is so fantastic because I think he is very sneeky.

    I think that the story will be about Mr. Fox trying to “outfox” the three farmers. I think that Mr. Fox is called fantastic because in the blurb, he manages to steal from the three meanest farmers around. I think that to “outfox” someone is to outsmart them.

    I predict that Mr.Fox is called fantastic because Mr.Fox can smell from miles away and whenever he steals something he does not get caught. I think that ”outfoxed” means you can not catch him and he is a smart fox.

    I think that he’s called fantastic because he is so great at stealing things from the mean farmers without getting caught. So now fat Boggis, squat Bunce, and skinny Bean are going to see how smart Fantastic Mr. Fox really is. He’s called “Fantastic” for a pretty good reason!!!!!!!!!

    I think Mr. Fox is called fantastic because he is so smart and sneaky.
    To outfox someone means to be tricker and smarter than someone else.

    After I read the blurb I was thinking why would Mr. Fox steal from these farmers? I think he is called fantastic because he seems to enjoy stealing and is good at it. I think outfox means to get outsmarted by a fox.

    I think the story is about how Mr. Fox is stealing stuff. He is very sneaky so I think that is why he is called “fantastic”

    I think they call fantastic Mr fox is called “fantastic” because He is Very slick. I think that outfox means to be outsmarted.

    i think Mr.fox is called The Fantastic Fox is because he is good at stealing either apple cider and turkey from Bean and chicken from boggis and duck and goose from bunce

    I think that a fantastic plan can save him. It means to out smart someone.

    I think he is called fantastic Mr.fox because only the most fantastic plan can save him and his family. To outfox someone means to outsmart someone.
