1. I jumped off a 60 foot cliff in 8th grade with my little sister into a river with my parents waiting below. They swore off jumping after that. So did I!!!

2. I founded a cloth diapering company and sold cloth diapers for 5 years before becoming a teacher. I originally designed them but went to a manufacturer and became the middle man after 1 year of production. The business still runs… but I don’t mess with that crap anymore though. Just kidding, I still work with the company on a regular basis.

3. My dream growing up was to become a Disney animator. I met and became close friends with the great grand-daughter of disney’s first patron (a barber shop owner) in college. The great grand-daughter allowed me to use the letter from Walt Himself written to her family in one of my college presentations. That’s as close as I’ll ever get to his animation I guess:).

4. Like Unklar, I too am musically inclined. I play the french horn. Thanks to the Wii, I now also play the drums, the guitar and I sing quite lovely! Watch for me on American Idol.

5. At age three I have a vivid memory of sitting on the toilet and hearing a large croaking noise bubble up. There was a bull frog in the toilet. It had come up from the sewer and for years I was traumatized and had to look deep into the toilet before I sat down to go.

6. They call me George! Yes, George. Why? As an infant I had a rag doll of curious george I would never let go of. I carried it around everywhere I wondered. I was always missing and wandering and doing peculiar things that most people just didn’t think of doing, just like Curious George. To this day my Aunt and Uncle’s still call me George.

7. I can’t cook. I tried to start in college, but the fire engines came to my apartment so many times that they said they were going to start charging me if I didn’t start paying attention to what I was doing. My husband just last night yelled up to me from downstairs… “honey, this isn’t instant rice. Did you know there is more than one kind!” He gets a chuckle out of me in the kitchen. He prefers I stay out. I can seriously make water catch on fire. I stay out of the kitchen as much as possible. There are very few things I can’t do, cooking is one of them! Singing is the other… sorry #4… I gave you up!
