SMART Technologies has provided a WONDERFUL professional development service on their website by hosting and archiving webinars that focus on a wide variety of topics. I recently took part in the webinar focused on the use of SMART products in Early Education settings. This is very useful in my special education classroom where I integrate Discovery assets and SMART products. The web browser is one of the greatest addition to Notebook 11.
I downloaded a free notebook lesson on “Grammar Rulz” as part of the SMART Gold Star SEE program. I thought it was great resource for teachers but since I teach special education, it would be too difficult for them. I love the concept and will I make a simplified version.
Thanks for the SMART free science notebook lesson. I got some great interactivity ideas.
The course park on cyberbullying was quite interesting. I really enjoyed the self pace instruction and never realized that SMART offered such a program.
This week was the first time I tried SMART response with the students signing in. We had a few problems but the kids loved it. I should I use yes /no instead of the word true / false because that was confusing to them.
