Hi, I’m Laura. For the past nine years, I have been the Technology Instructor and Facilitator at Trinity Lutheran School in Joppa, MD. We have lots of great technology at Trinity, including Tablet PC’s for the teachers, SMARTboards in classrooms from grades 2 and up, a 1-1 laptop program in our Middle School, wireless access throughout the school, and of course, Discovery Education Streaming! This year, I am rewriting our Technology Curriculum to include more 21st Century Skills and Global Collaboration, so if there are any classrooms out there that want to work with us on a project, let me know!

Hi, I am the technology integration specialist in a k-8 parochial school in Kensington, MD. I am also a grad student at JHU in the Out of School Time Learning Leadership program. I am an advocate for 24/7 learning and always work to get students the tech tools they need to succeed. I make sure we are using DEstreaming and all of the DE tools through out our school because they engage students. 90% of us need visual information to learn! Let me know how I can help you and your students “get visual”.

Hi, this is Selena aka The Tech Tiger. I am a Technology Integration Teacher at Benjamin Tasker Middle School in Bowie. I have been a STAR educator for a few years and a Google Certified Teacher for one year. The best part of the DEN is the educators! I look forward to meeting/learning from all of the Maryland educators at various events and online. Look for my posts to include DEN events, local technology events, Web 2.0 tools, and Google Hints. Let me know what you want to hear about!
