My campus utilizes video ipods in 2nd, 4th, and 5th grade. In second grade we use it at a literacy center as the students study about award winning Caldecott Books. Our 4th grade students utilize the ipods in Writing, Reading and Science. In 5th grade the students use ipods in Math, Language Arts, and Science. I will use my blog to communicate our projects for each of the grade levels. I would love to communicate with other schools that have done similar work or are interested in starting an ipod project. This is a video of the 4th graders as they are using the iPods to listen to voice memos for their writing. I left the sound in, so you can see how silent the classroom is while the teacher is at the back of the room having a one to one personal conference with a student.
