About JPeg
We have been employed by the Jefferson-Morgan School District, in southwestern PA, for a combined total of 66 teaching years. Our Jefferson-Morgan Elementary School houses approximately 500 students in grades PreK through 6. Peggy retired in 2007 as the Technology Integrator with 34 years experience, and Jim has been the Elementary Art Instructor for 32 years. In addition, we are adjunct professors for the Education Department at Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA. When it comes to technology, we are often perceived as joined at the hip. We’re a package deal know as JPeg.
We became involved with Discovery Education in the Fall of 2005 and achieved the status of STAR DEN member and PA DEN Leadership Council member. Our mission is to spread the message of the DEN throughout the state and nation.

These two are not just adjunct professors for Chatham…they are the BEST adjunct professors! Their Art Methods course was a fantastic, project-oriented, technology-infused learning experience. The material they presented was informative and engaging, and the projects they facilitated were student-centered, not to mention tools I will really use as a teacher! Thank you!
