It’s so wonderful to see how technology can allow us to see into the future…..You’ve got a ‘2008′ date on the slide!!!! LOL

Great info as usual, Hall. As far as the more advanced video editing programs go—
-Mac guy that I am, the Adobe Premiere Elements/PhotoShop Elements bundle has to be one of the best software deals in education (~$100). My young nephews (11-17) are big Pinnacle Studio fans.
- Apple’s Final Cut Express ($179) is the SAME interface as Final Cut Pro. It’s just a reduced feature set for the reduced price. Pro Studio ($699) gives you the all the features pros use to edit commercials, network TV and feature films, plus DVD Studio Pro, Compressor, Motion (3D animation), and Soundtrack Pro. A lot of power and a lot of learning curve, but students are usually undaunted.
Remember, you only need these programs on a station or two for special scenes and projects. They can then be saved and imported into MovieMaker or iMovie on another computer.

I did have the opportunity to attend your workshops on Thursday. I want to thank you for sharing some fabulous ideas that I brought back in my school. Your presentations were engaging and entertaining. I do have a question…what is the name of the image website you mentioned (I thought you said kidszoo.org)? Thank you for coming to NH.

Celeste, that’s http://www.kitzu.org a great source of kits (video clips, stills and sounds) for putting together a digital story.
