These are my links for August 9th through August 11th:

- Drain the Ocean | National Geographic Channel – what would happen if we could drain the oceans and study the ocean floor…
- Teacher Training Videos – Free on-line training in using technology for teaching… we just started using Moodle in our school, so I am looking forward to checking out their video on it.
- Google For Educators – Web Search – Google’s lessons on teaching search strategies.
- Free Tech 4 Teachers – FriendFeed – Richard Byrne reviews the book “The World is Open.” Looks like an excellent book! But until I go out and get my own copy, I can check out his bit-by-bit reviews as he reads!
- Young Programmers Podcast – Cool videos with ideas on teaching programming. I especially love the “Mr. T Guesses the Food” game!
- movingforward – Blogs – great list of resources for K-12 blogging
- VisualBlooms – home – a visual representation of some web 2.0 apps and how they relate to Bloom’s Taxonomy
- Steve Dembo’s presentation about Policies, Safety, and Social Networking –
- John Quincy Adams (JQAdams_MHS) on Twitter – Check it out! Our 6th president has a twitter! (The Mass. Historical society is posting his diary entries, which actually sound a lot like tweets!)
