The more time I spend connecting with the DEN, the more impressed I am with the relationships that are formed. There are so many wonderful individuals that comprise the DEN. I was just invited to attend an event “Trends, Tools and Tactics for 21st Century Learning”. Funny, I recognize the name of the presenter – Kevin Honeycutt. He’s been involved with Second Life DEN events. I’m there.
Today, I just RSVPed for “Cablevision’s Day of Discovery”. It will be held on August 24th in Bethpage, NY. This is a collaboration between Cablevision and Discovery. We will be focusing on 21st Century Skills and technology integration. I see Steve Dembo will be the keynote speaker. Through my virtual travels on the DEN websites I certainly feel like I have gotten to know Mr. Dembo, or should I say Mr. DEN.
I have truly enjoyed the friendships that I have made through the DEN. I look forward to meeting and “meeting” more of you. And to those I have already become familiar, I thank you for your support and assisting me in growing my PLN.
