One great idea or discussion can lead to another.  Recently a friend on Facebook asked “What is Twitter? And what’s it for?” As I was discussing its benefits with her I realized hmmm the NY DEN LC could benefit from Twitter.  I emailed the members of the Leadership Council.  It was decided that we should start an account.  The NY DEN Leadership Council opened its virtual doors on Twitter.  Here is the post on the NY DEN LC blog. (http://blog.discoveryeducation.com/newyork/2009/04/17/ny-den-leadership-council-opens-its-doors-on-twitter/)  This will serve as a great space for council members to post messages from the NY DEN LC.  We can remind New York DENers of upcoming events, registration pages, new tools, Discovery announcements, and more.  Plus it has interactive capabilities.  I can’t wait to see how this will grow and develop over time.  If you’d like to follow the group page on Twitter please visit  http://twitter.com/NYDENLC.
