Okay…it’s been a little bit since our 1st posting - NC is in the middle of End of Grade Testing and we all know how that is!! All the best, NC, with EOGs!!
We wanted to take a moment and send some kudos to one of our NC DEN Leadership Council Members, Dr. Bob Pettis (from Polk County Schools). He presented this year at the North Carolina Science Teachers Conference in Greensboro, NC and at the National Science teachers Conference in Boston, MA on various science related topics including the use of UnitedStreaming in the classroom - “Enhancing Science Using Student-Created Digital Videos”.
Dr. Bob received a $3000 grant from NCAECT to purchase equipment to assist in the production of student-created science videos. He plans on presenting the results at the NCAECT conference in Raleigh in March 2009. Great Job getting the word out on using digital media to enhance science classroom instruction…hats off to you!!
