Conversations

Sunday, January 31st, 2010

educon22logo.jpgI attended Educon 2.2 virtually today from the comfort of my sofa. I really wanted to attend in person and spend time with the great educators who were there and have extended conversations with members of my PLN. Since time and money did not allow that this year I did the next best thing and got involved virtually. I thoroughly enjoyed my day which started at 9:30 and continued until 3:00. Most of the time the streaming worked well, but there were a few glitches. But that is the nature of tech. Some of the conversations I took part in involved what teacher education should look like, how educational spaces should be organized, and best practices for backchanneling. Thanks to everyone who was responsible for extending the conversations. I look forward to being there in person next year.
