Tech Team Fundraiser
November 22nd, 2007 by Patricia Hawkenson in Uncategorized

I am busy with my sixth grade students creating 1″ magnets, pins and zipper pulls to sell as a fundraiser for our Tech Team.  Our first goal is to purchase a SMART Board for the seventh grade staff so that students can continue their skills into next year.  Check out our web page at:  www.quia.com/pages/hawkensontech.html

Patricia,

Raising money for tech is always a challenge. Our school has half our kids in a computer lab each semester. We let them pay $1 to play online games the last day of our grading period. That raises about $350 each time. You might check out www.chipin.com. Steve Dembo is using it to raise money for Habitat for Humanity. If you put a link on your webpage, you might be surprised how many local people would chip in some money for your tech needs. I’m talking to our principal about adding it to our school website as well.
