Student Adventure Iiang qu Beijing!  Ni qu bu qu? (I want to go to Beijing!  Are you going?)

Ni hao!  (Hello!)  My application for the Discovery Student Adventure is IN!  WHOO HOO!  This is an amazing opportunity for a laoshi (teacher) and students to go on the adventure of a lifetime.  You can submit an application at: https://discoverystudentadventures.wufoo.com/forms/pilot-program-application/

I wish I was available to apply for all three adventures, but I am committed to teaching summer school and that is offered at the same time as the trips to Australia and South Africa.  China, actually my personal choice, is the only opportunity I can apply for.  The rich culture in this country has always been an interest of mine since I traveled to Chinatown in San Francisco a few years ago.  I have had Chinese foreign students visit my classroom and the students love their interactions.  The difficult part would be chosing the students to come along; they ALL want to go!

I was born under the sign of the ji (rooster) which means I must be hard-working, shrewd, and good at making decisions.  Without sounding too boastful (a fault of us roosters!), I think could be a good representative for the Student Discovery Adventure to China.  Xiexie (thank you)DEN for the opportunity to apply for this experience!
