The school year is winding down and even though I enjoyed this year’s students tremendously, I do feel the need to ‘break away’ and refresh.  Successes this year included: another showcase of student Biome Interactive Power Point Museums orally shared on the SMARTBoard, participation in 1001Flat Tales Wiki, and another year of coaching our SMS Tech Team.  I still will be teaching summer school Movie Maker, Levels I and II, with help from Discovery Streaming materials and the American Film Institute.

On the spin off, I have been connecting with a wonderful group of writers at Poetic Asides.  I completed their PAD, poem a day, challenge!  In the process, I feel I have made amazing connections with people who are willing to really put themselves out there.  Their heartfelt struggles and uplifting words are truly inspirational.  Because of this I have created a webpage of my own, a new blog created using Edublog, called: Expressive Domain.  This blog will host my poetry and other artistic expressions, such as pictures of my latest stained glass kaleidoscopes.  Stop by.
