NECC Rocked!
I’m so glad I got to meet my SL friends at NECC on Monday. It was a little weird to have confirmation that ya’ll are “real” people, too, not just fancy avatars. I felt like I knew each of you already, but meeting in RL definitely was the icing on the cake (or, as we say in Texas, the barbeque sauce on the brisket). I didn’t think it was possible to be more excited about the potential and possibilities of Second Life and Discovery Education, but I am! Guess I can’t side-step becoming a DEN Guide and an ISTE Docent.
For those of you who were not able to attend NECC, I hope you get a chance to go next year. It’s worth the expense, travel, and time away from home. I’m already making plans to go to DC next year.
