So much to process, where to begin….. Our first day of the Discovery Education National Training Academy began yesterday at 8:00 am and we took off running for 12 hours. Hall Davidson gave the keynote, The Revenge of the Digital Immigrants: Teaching with Media Technology. Morning sessions covered creating reports, lessons, quizzes, assignments and much more. One afternoon activity was to create a PowerPoint presentation with images and embedded videos. Such originality and possibilities. Evening sessions covered using a green screen, the many uses of an iPod and creating videos with animoto.com.
Back in my hotel room last night I created this short video with photos from my trip to Alaska.
